Poor digestion, acidity, and bloating are common lifestyle issues. Ayurveda offers simple herbal remedies that regulate digestive fire (Agni) and restore balance.
This remedy uses cumin (jeera) and carom seeds (ajwain) — both powerful carminatives that aid in smooth digestion.
🌱 Why It Works
- Jeera (Cumin): Improves digestion, reduces bloating, and balances pitta.
- Ajwain (Carom Seeds): Strong carminative, relieves gas, acidity, and cramps.
- Warm Water: Enhances absorption and soothes the stomach.
If the decoction tastes too sharp, a crushed pod of cardamom added to the pot softens it — cardamom is itself a traditional after-meal digestive, so it belongs here rather than merely masking the flavour.
